Chicago Office Report - Q3

Market fundamentals continued to weaken across Metro Chicago during the third quarter, however, fewer sizeable blocks of space were added. Leasing activity remained below average and was largely comprised of renewal transactions. As tenants become more comfortable with the direction of the economy and the health of their operations, deal velocity should pick up. That said, we do not expect to see sustained, across-the-board activity for at least 12 to 18 months.
