​With both party’s candidates now determined, the Presidential election season kicks into high gear over the coming months. Excitement is stirring the two regions that will host the parties’ nominating conventions – Charlotte for the Democrats  and Tampa Bay for the Republicans. Over the next five months, we will explore the local economic and market conditions of both areas, which are both lagging the national recovery and also happen to be located in bellwether swing states. We will also look into how both have/have not recovered in some cases, preparations each area is planning, what the local economies and even real estate markets can expect from being the host to the Conventions and a lot more.
