The Seattle office statistics continued to show slow improvement, albeit somewhat sluggish during the first quarter. Improvement is expected to continue going forward. Three prominent trends stand out:
• The flight to quality continued with close-in Class A markets showing positive net absorption.
• Class B and suburban markets continue to struggle with flat and negative net absorption.
• Several smaller Northend markets posted surprisingly low single digit vacancy rates.
