Jones Lang LaSalle's Small Business Subcontracting Policy for Government Contracts
Purpose: To provide maximum practical business opportunities to all categories of small business subcontractors.
Applicability: Jones Lang LaSalle will apply this policy to all Government contracts.
Policy: Consistent with their qualifications, small businesses shall have the opportunity to participate as subcontractors in federal government contracts awarded to Jones Lang LaSalle.
Goal: Jones Lang LaSalle will make every effort to identify well-qualified small, veteran-owned, veteran-owned service disabled, HUBZone, disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses. Jones Lang LaSalle’s objective is to award a minimum of 5% of the total contract value to small business subcontractors by the end of each applicable contract.
Types of Services to be Subcontracted: Jones Lang LaSalle anticipates subcontracting the following services to small businesses based on the federal government’s contracting needs:
- Project Management and Additional Project Staffing
- Architectural and Engineering Services
- Database and Website Design and Maintenance Services
- Local Area Market Research
- Environmental Services
- Advertising and Marketing
- Legal Support
- Economic and Feasibility Analysis
- Historic Preservation Services.
Ensuring an Equitable Opportunity to Compete: Under the oversight of our subcontract administrator, Jones Lang LaSalle will ensure that small business, veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns have an equitable opportunity to compete for subcontracts established in support of federal government contracts. Throughout the life of each government contract, Jones Lang LaSalle will continue to build long-term relationships with small business, veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business and women-owned small business concerns. We will continually seek qualified companies for future subcontracting opportunities.
Small business subcontracting policy and procedures will be implemented by our Small Business Liaison Officer, who reports to a Managing Director in our firm.
