Jones Lang LaSalle will not have a formal, firm-wide internship program in 2009. Some individual business units may hire interns for specific locations and assignments, and those opportunities will be listed on our web site with all open positions.
We offer talented students of all disciplines a 10-week, summertime opportunity to gain a better understanding of the real estate industry and of the different functions within Jones Lang LaSalle. Many interns are considered for full-time opportunities with the firm upon completion of the program.

Summer Internship at a glance

This year, the recruiting team hosted a two-day orientation to help summer interns learn about the company and opportunities for professional growth. The program also featured several networking sessions. Participants especially enjoyed the diverse and informative activities, which ranged from a tour of the Aon Center to an architectural river cruise to a presentation on networking and mentoring.

“The overall schedule for us was probably the most amazing part,” said M. P. Hayden, a Purdue student assigned to Corporate Solutions in the Detroit office. “I can honestly say that I was intrigued by everything that was being presented to us. From the presentations to the architecture cruise, everything was exactly as I imagined for an internship seminar.”
