Current Responsibilities
Mr. Roberts serving as a Portfolio Energy Manager, predominantly for the T-Mobile account. His duties include creating and deploying a comprehensive strategy for reducing energy consumption and cost; building and training a team of energy champions who uncover and document potential energy savings and carbon reduction opportunities; assisting the client’s with its in-house sustainability program; and forecasting and monitoring energy expenditures.

Mr. Roberts brings over 25 years of energy experience to his client accounts. During most of that time, he was directly responsible for analyzing energy performance, identifying energy savings, and optimizing mechanical system operation.
Mr. Roberts began his career as an HVAC system design engineer for large industrial and commercial facilities before transitioning into a hands-on startup and commissioning role ensuring his client’s mechanical systems ran properly and efficiently. He then transitioned to a project manager roll working directly with clients to ensure their programs achieved desired performance improvements and financial savings.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Roberts is licensed Professional Engineer, has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Oklahoma. He is a LEED AP and a Green Globes Professional. |
