Regus enlisted Jones Lang LaSalle’s Construction Group to complete their 15,867 square-foot build out, located at 500 Lake Cook Road, Chicago, IL. The work included: complete removal and replacement of drywall ceilings through a common corridor, new doors/ frames/ and hardware, low voltage work, new conference room and Client Service Center, carpet, paint, and lighting.

Two key challenges were, the space would be fully occupied and that the project schedule went from a three phases in 12 weeks to a four phase plan that was still required to be completed within the agreed 12 week duration. The fast track construction schedule was incredibly challenging. When Jones Lang LaSalle Construction worked when the floor was occupied, they had to make sure they controlled the dust, noise, and service disruptions and needed schedule a lot of the work over weekends.

Due to Jones Lang LaSalle’s careful management of the construction process, there were no disruptions to the tenants operations and the job was completed on time.
