Current Responsibilities
Emily leads the Innovation & Product Development program for the Corporate Solutions business where she is responsible for focusing on developing leading edge programs and products that enhance the firm’s ability to deliver market-leading real estate strategies for its clients.

Her role reaches across all of Jones Lang LaSalle’s practices to promote an integrated approach in developing and maintaining innovation programs to identify new services and products, as well as incremental enhancements to current offerings to drive value for our clients. Some key innovation initiatives that she has launched are innovation and critical thinking workshops to generate leading edge ideas, a technology tool to capture and vet ideas and best practices across the firm, and a partnering program across service lines and geographies to drive collaboration with organizations, companies, or individuals in order to leverage outside investments, ideas and market views.  These tools have generated hundreds of ideas, many of which have already created benefits for our clients and many of which are underway for implementation.

She has facilitated many innovation workshops for internal teams, clients, and suppliers to generate new ideas that solve client challenges.

Experience
Prior to her current role, Emily spent 14 years with Gap Inc. in increasingly high-profile roles within the company’s store design, construction, and real estate departments, most recently as Senior Director of Real Estate Management & Operations. In this role, she was responsible for guiding the global asset management for the company’s brands, change management for new initiatives, portfolio management, real estate strategy & analytics, process improvement, and technology functions for their 38-million-square-foot portfolio.  She was involved in facilitating organizational change efforts around process design, cultural initiatives, and onboarding.  She has also held positions at Gap Inc. in Construction Estimating, Gap Brand Global Store Design, and Architecture & Construction.

Education and Affiliations
Emily holds Masters of Business Administration degrees from UC Berkeley and Columbia University (joint Executive MBA program) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural (Structural) Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a Six Sigma Champion and Green Belt and an active member of the Center for Responsible Business at UC Berkeley.  Emily also serves on Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Retail Solutions Vertical Board.  She resides in the San Francisco bay area.
